Big Fish championship game rained out in Kenai

There will be no championship game at the Bill Miller Big Fish Tournament in Kenai.

Blame the rain.

Showers washed away today's title game between Kenai Post 20 and Columbia [Tenn.] Post 19.

It would have been a rematch after Kenai beat Columbia 2-0 on the first day of the wood bat tournament.

They were able to get in both morning games, however.

Castroville [Texas] Post 460 beat East Post 34 4-3 and Strongsville [Ohio] Post 795 beat Eagle River 11-1.

This is it for Ohio, which goes back home after playing in tournaments in Wasilla and Kenai.

Texas and Tennesee will travel to Anchorage for the annual BP Invitational Tournament, which runs today through Sunday night at Mulcahy Stadium.
