It doesn't matter where you put Scooter Bynum of Fairbanks in the lineup the guy gets it done.

Last week he was hitting leadoff. Now he's in the No. 2 hole.

Bynum went 4-for-5 with a double, home run and 3 RBIs as Arizona Western beat Western Nevada 9-5 in JC baseball action.

The sophomore center fielder doubled in a pair of runs and later scored in the third inning.

In the sixth he launched his first homer of the season, a solo shot.

Bynum, of Monroe Catholic High fame, is hitting .289 with 7 RBIs and 6 runs in 10 games.

The promising playmaker was an 18th round draft pick by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2014 MLB Draft but opted to go to school.

Last season as a freshman he hit .314 in 54 games.
