Johnson makes the most of limited at-bats in college

Anchorage’s Parker Johnson enjoyed a productive weekend at the plate for Indiana Wesleyan during a weekend road series against Cumberland in Tennessee.
The starting left fielder had two hits in the opener, a 5-3 loss that snapped the team’s five-game winning streak.
Later in the series, Johnson laid down a squeeze bunt in the fourth inning to give Indiana Wesleyan a 4-3 lead in an eventual 6-4 loss.
The freshman is hitting near the bottom of the batting order, so he has seen only 19 at-bats in his first eight college games.
Yet the South Post 4 all-star has still managed to find ways to contribute with four base hits, four walks and two sacrifice bunts.
