Anchorage's Josh Crapps picked up his first college victory today, helping the University of Dallas beat Sul Ross State University 9-3 in Texas.

Crapps, of South Post 4 fame, pitched six innings and gave up six hits and three runs. He struck out three batters, a career high. It was just his second start.

Crapps fell behind 3-0 after just two innings before settling down. At one point he retired eight straight batters.

Also starting was Trevor Allred of Anchorage. The third baseman was hit by pitch, stole second and scored in the seventh inning.
