Manzer raises batting average 80 points after epic day

The Sonoma State left fielder from Anchorage enjoyed the greatest day of his college baseball career, going 5-for-9 with 6 RBIs in Saturday's doubleheader.
The senior capped his day with a bases-clearing triple in the eighth inning to put the finishing touches on an 11-3 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Manzer went 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs in the Game 2 win.
In Game 1, he went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.
The former West all-star catcher raised his batting average from .176 to .256 with his delightful day at the plate.
