Wasilla's Nolan Monaghan has won three of his first four starts on the mound for Feather River College of the California Community College Athletic Association.

The left-handed pitcher also owns a sparkling 1.85 earned-run average with 23 strikeouts in 24.1 innings.

The former Wasilla Post 35 all-star recently had his scoreless streak snapped at 17.2 innings.

Monaghan started the season with an 11-K performance before back-to-back effort without giving up a run.

He’s getting it done with pinpoint control, having issued only five walks on the year.

Look for Monaghan to earn another start in the Shasta series this weekend.
