Napoleon, Service undefeated at Todd Ryan Memorial in Wasilla

The Napoleon [Ohio] Post 300 River Bandits are making their fifth appearance in Alaska, this time with a new group of players.
New team, same result.
They won 6-1 over Eagle River and 7-2 over Dimond Post 21 today during the second day of the Todd Ryan Memorial Tournament in Wasilla.
The Ohio team won the 2011 Todd Ryan tournament the last time they were here.
Napoleon clinched the No. 1 seed in Pool B. Eagle River earned the No. 2 seed over No. 3 Dimond virtue of the Wolves 13-9 win Thursday.
On the other side of the bracket, Service Post 28 secured the No. 1 berth in Pool A after winning two games tonight.
Service beat Wasilla 3-1 and then knocked off Bartlett 8-5 in the nightcap.
The Todd Ryan continues Saturday with three games, highlighted by a pair of super semifinal games.
The first one at 3 p.m. is a clash between Napoleon and Wasilla, the Alaska league leaders. The second at 6 p.m. pits Service and Eagle River, which only a few days ago swept a doubleheader from the Cougars with back-to-back one-run wins.
The tournament concludes Sunday with a 6 o’clock title game. All games are at McManus Field.
