Schierhorn, Crapps pitch Dallas into next round of playoffs

Anchorage’s Chris Schierhorn and Josh Crapps helped extend the University of Dallas baseball team’s season last night.
Both pitchers combined on a complete-game effort in a 4-3 victory over Southwestern in an elimination game in the SCAC Tournament in Georgetown, Texas.
Crapps started the game and went the five innings, allowing four hits and two unearned runs. He faced 24 batters.
Schierhorn came in relief, giving up one run over the final four innings. He faced 17 batters.
Both guys were teammates at South High.
Now they are tied for second on the team in wins  as their team stays alive in the postseason.
