Service Post 28 wins first game at Nebraska Legion tournament

Karson Frisk shut out the Post 121 Green Wave of Benson Park, Neb., for five innings Friday to lead Service Post 28 to a 2-1 victory for its first win in the Battle of Omaha.

Frisk allowed just one hit and struck out two.

Mike Perez laced a two-run double to right field in the fourth inning that plated Ryan Bailey and Zach Cuddihy for the winning margin.

Perez led Service with two hits while Mike Choy, Lucas LaPointe, Zach Ferntheil and Bailey each had a hit of their own.

Matt Yandell closed out the game to earn the save.

Service is now 1-3 in tournament play.
