South 7, Chugiak 4

Josh Crapps picked up the win and little brother Jacob earned the save as South Post 4 beat Chugiak Post 33 by a 7-4 score in the Alaska Legion state tournament at Mulcahy Stadium.

That sets up a 6 o'clock, winner-take-all championship game.

South banged out nine hits and put the game away with a six-run spot in the fourth inning.

Chugiak led 2-0 after the first inning and scored a pair of runs in the eighth inning to pull within 7-4.
