Most players only dream of collecting five hits in a game, but Kenai’s Paul Steffensen is making that reality a regular occurrence.

The Mesa Community College freshman went 5-for-6 with 10 total bases in a 16-5 victory over Eastern Arizona College in the Arizona Community College Athletic Association.

The left fielder collected two triples, a double and two singles. He also drove in three runs and scored three times.

He also went 5-for-6 in late February against Gateway Community College.

Steffensen, of Kenai Legion Post 20 fame, ranks third in the league with a .400 batting average in 39 games.

He had a 26-game hitting streak earlier this season and has delivered a base hit in 35 of 39 games.
