Wall throws 118-pitch CG, now to 5-0 on the year

Juneau’s Philip Wall tossed another gem for the University of Northwestern-St. Paul.

 

The freshman starting pitcher went the distance to highlight an 8-2 win over Crown during NCAA D3 action in Minnesota.

 

He threw 118 pitches en route to his fourth complete game, but the first time he went all nine innings.

 

Wall, of Juneau Legion Post 25 fame, improved to 5-0 in eight appearances.

 

He leads his team in wins and ERA (2.39) and ranks second with 52.2 innings.
