Way pitches Edmonds CC to win in first start of the year

Edmonds Community College pitcher Brian Way of Sitka looked good in his first start of the season.

The 6-foot-7 right-hander struck out seven batters over six innings of work as Edmonds beat Southwestern Oregon Community College 13-2 in NWAC action.

Way scattered five hits and one walk.

He is now 7-2 with a 1.73 ERA in 16 career appearances with Edmonds.
